Background:
We are in an interface driven environment at our client, which means, all the business transactions come into SAP through interfaces and the volume of everyday transactions is very high. In order to improve the performance of these transactions, we are looking into updating the retail specific info structures (RIS) S083, S084, S085 in an asynchronous manner, so that it doesn't take up too much time during transaction creation.
In the asynchrouns update to RIS< we have 2 options, V2 and V3 updates.
Questions:
1. Can any one shed some light on how we go about the V3 update. That is, let's say I pick the S083 and S084 structures to be updated as V3, using radio buttons in config. What do I need to do next? Where and how to I schedule this update?
2. What is the difference between V2 and V3 update?
