I had this problem once and it had something to do with the Page Setup defined in Crystal Reports.  It had to do with the Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size and setting the orientation in Landscape or Portrait.

The following note is what I found, but SAP mentions this note in the overview note for 8.82 PL10

1784345 - CR_Page size and orientation settings of Crystal reports do not work when printing Crystal reports from SAP Business One

Symptom

The page size and orientation settings of imported Crystal report do not work when you print the report from SAP Business One.

Reproducing the issue

Scenario:

  1. Create a Crystal report with the following page settings:
    • Page size: Legal
    • Orientation: Landscape
  2. Import the Crystal report into SAP Business One using the import wizard (Administration Setup →General →Report and Layout Manager).
  3. Define the default printing settings of SAP Business One as:
    • Page size: Letter
    • Orientation: Portrait

Expected Behavior:

The page size and orientation settings of the imported Crystal report take effect. When printing the Crystal report from SAP Business One, the default page size is "Legal" and page orientation is "Landscape".

Actual Behavior:

The page size and orientation settings of the imported Crystal report do not take effect when printing. If you print the Crystal report from SAP Business One, the default page size is "Letter" and page orientation is "Portrait".

Note:

The printing result is up to your settings of the option "Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Page Size".

Cause

Application error.

Solution

1. If you want the page settings of your imported Crystal reports take effect, you must select the option "Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Page Size" in the Crystal Reports page setup.

2. SAP intends to provide patches in order to solve described problem.

The section Reference to related Notes below will list the specific Patches when available.

The corresponding Info file of Patches on SAP Service Marketplace will show the correction / SAP Note number also.

Be aware that these references can only be set at Patch release date.

SAP will deliver Patches only for selected Releases at its own discretion, based on the business impact and the complexity of the implementation.
